Does anyone remember Mifid II, or the staggering amount of time, energy and resources that were being expanded around this time last year? With that deadline now firmly in the past, market participants have been able to consider investments and innovations unrelated to the regulations, and go back to business as usual.

Many FX participants are already reviewing their FX operating model, building support for FX clearing and Futures in addition to their OTC FX.

360 Treasury Systems AG (360T), the center of competence of Deutsche Börse Group’s global FX strategy, disclosed today that it has been awarded again as “The Best Professional E-Trading Venue” as well as “Best Vendor for Dealing Technology” in the FX Week Best Bank Awards. The awards will be presented on 25 November, 2015 at the Landmark, London.

Today Deutsche Börse completed the acquisition of 360T, following the approval of relevant antitrust authorities and the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). The trading platform remains under the regulatory supervision of BaFin and operates under the existing management team. Moreover, 360T’s CEO Carlo Kölzer will join Deutsche Börse’s Group Management Committee.

The Middle East region needs careful definition.
