We are looking for a

Systems Administrator (m/f)

to join our young and energetic System Administration team which is responsible for the installation, monitoring and maintenance of all of the operational software and hardware critical to the successful running of trading services. You will directly reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and System Administration.

Your Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and monitoring for our deployed hardware/software
• Interact with development and business teams to understand requirements and produce effective results
• Quickly and accurate troubleshoot and repair system level problems
• Document projects and train others on new technologies
• Network troubleshooting and maintenance
• Support office infrastructure (user pc´s/printers/mobile devices)
• Be able to work rotating shifts if necessary

Your Requirements

• At least five years´ experience in a system administrator role
• Excellent knowledge of Linux (RHEL) administration
• Experience in project management, ability to lead large scale projects
• Good knowledge of networking and network devices
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication skills in English/German

• Implementation of security relevant infrastructure
• Project management, ability to lead large scale projects
• Database administration (Oracle 10G RAC, MySQL)
• Windows administration (Exchange, Active Directory, BES)
• Experience in high availability environments
• Previous experience in an IT position in the financial sector
• Ability to switch between large projects and day to day maintenance
