We are looking for a

Systems Administrator (m/f)

to join our young and energetic System Administration team which is responsible for the installation, monitoring and maintenance of all of the operational software and hardware critical to the successful running of trading services. You will directly reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and System Administration.

Your Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and monitoring for our deployed software
• Hardware installation, maintenance, upgrading, configuration management and backing up
• Managing virus protection and intrusion detection services
• Monitoring and troubleshooting operational services and reporting against service level agreements
• Research and troubleshooting of system problems
• Routine network administration and maintenance
• Be able to work rotating shifts if necessary

Your Profile

• At least one year experience in a system administrator role
• Excellent knowledge of Linux and good knowledge of Windows servers
• Good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, Network infrastructure (LDAP (OpenLDAP), DHCP and DNS (Bind)), Databases (MySql and Oracle 10g)
• Knowledge of at least one of the following would be advantage: MS Exchange Server, Blackberry Enterprise Server (for our email system), Samba, Email infrastructure (Microsoft Exchange, Veritas Backup and Postfix), Web infrastructure (Squid, Apache and Tomcat)
• Good knowledge of networking and network devices
• Good database administration knowledge in at least one of the following: Oracle or MySQL
• Good knowledge of pc and server hardware
• Good communication skills in English
