Build and Release Engineer JavaSE (m/f)

You will be part of our Architecture Team and will directly report to our Head of Architecture. You will work closely with the development team, Quality Assurance, and the infrastructure team providing guidance and managing software build strategies and plans. Your job will be to evolve our build and deployment infrastructure and management of external libraries. Your Responsibilities

• Manage daily builds. Responsible for maintaining build infrastructure and build tools from designing, developing and debugging to improving the system.
• Manage our test suite. Take care of and maintain our test infrastructure, performing initial suite failure investigations and identifying the root cause of issues independently.
• Design, develop, document and maintain our packaging and deployment infrastructure.
• Recommend, support and extend build and release tools and processes for a fast moving development organization.

Your Profile

• Proven track record of being able to work independently and achieve targets in a timely manner. Exceptional attention to detail. Capability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• In depth knowledge of maven. You should not be afraid to write your own maven plug-ins if required. Understanding of maven repository servers like Nexus.
• Expert knowledge of configuration management tools like SVN and a good understanding of ITIL configuration management principles.
• Vast experience and knowledge of various testing, development and release tools.
• Good understanding of continuous integration tools like Bamboo or Cruise Control.
• Very good general UNIX system administration and scripting (Python, Bash) skills.
• Very good understanding of JavaSE.
• Some experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, XEN or OpenVZ.
